  35. I can multitask with no problems at all at 28.8,14.5 slip/ppp, with  2-3 
  36. simultaneous downloads, cd player going, word documents open and netscape 
  37. running. perhaps you are getting overrun errors. Do you have 16550 uart? are 
  38. your mtu,mss settings correct (if you are using slip/ppp).
